COMMERCIAL INSTRMENT RATED PILOT
Mike brings more than 30 years of experience in the technology industry and now leads @Altitude, a consulting and advisory practice focused on helping business leaders apply Biblical principles and pursue Kingdom purpose. His professional life has been built around discipline, preparation, and service — values that translate naturally into aviation.

His flying journey began during a season of weekly 4:30 a.m. commercial flights from Greensboro to Seattle, long before TSA PreCheck existed. One early morning, operating on autopilot and far too little sleep, Mike stepped into the security line, removed his shoes and belt… and accidentally dropped his pants below his underwear. No one said a word. The silence was unforgettable.

In that moment, he decided it was time to become a pilot.

Today, aviation is both a passion and a calling. When he’s not flying or advising business leaders, Mike enjoys time with his greatest accomplishment: a 43-year marriage, two married children, and five grandchildren who keep life grounded and entertaining.
